Med-Surg Nurse (RN) - Coldwater, MI

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical nursing. You will play a vital role in the assessment, planning, and implementation of care for adult patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments of patient health status, including physical, emotional, and social needs Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans Educate patients and their families on health conditions, post-treatment care, and preventive measures Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions, communicating effectively with healthcare professionals

Desired Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted RN license with experience in Medical-Surgical nursing Proven ability to manage multiple patients and adapt to varying caseloads Proficiency in performing Med-Surg nursing responsibilities in a hospital setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritize effectively Strong collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team BLS certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, etc.) are a plus
