Job Description

Job Summary:
Looking for experienced Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant or Emergency Medical Technician to join our team. Serious inquiries only. Prefer candidates that live in Beaufort or Jasper County, South Carolina. At least once a week, our staff rotate between our 2 locations (Okatie and Hilton Head Island). Additional compensation for candidates that are bilingual
  • Spanish.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. If you have a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and possess excellent patient service skills, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Administer vaccines to children as directed by healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records on our patients
  • Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Valid certification as a Medical Assistant
  • Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience in administering medications, vaccines and performing basic laboratory tests
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping
  • Bilingual interpreter (Spanish) for provider to patient.
