Medical Assistant

Physicians Injury Clinic is looking for a highly motivated Medical Assistant to be part of our clinical team dedicated to providing a 5-star customer service under the highest safety standards to ensure an excellent patient experience and outcome. We value and appreciate our team members and provide the support and resources necessary for our employees to be successful. We offer a monthly performance bonus program after 30 days of employment which can add $.50 to $4 USD on top of the hourly base salary. And a $500 USD loyalty bonus after 6 months of employment.

BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with patient dismissals, patient scheduling and follow ups, and referrals to other medical offices and specialists. Timely and constant communication with offices who referred patients to our clinic to provide rapid responses to their needs. Patient care, intakes, and procedures assistance. Specific details about the job responsibilities will be provided during in-person interview.

REQUIREMENTS

Medical assistant degree or equivalent clinical certification. 1 year of experience that is relevant to the duties and responsibilities specified. Experience utilizing electronic medical records systems (EMR/HER). CPR Certification. Be able to type at least 60 words per minute. Bilingual - English and Spanish. Fluent in-person, written, and phone communication skills. Strong people and building relationships skills. Pursues learning new things and trainings to improve skills. Goal driven. Responsible and accountable; individually and as part of a team.
