Medical Assistant

Overview Part-time, on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to our patients in a new single-location Rheumatology clinic to work with a provider. Duties Answer phone calls/emails, and communicate the doctor's recommendations to patients through phone or electronically. Obtain records through fax/other means Register patients and collect payments and run eligibility. Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history, and medications history. Check out patients. Assist the doctor in other tasks/procedures if needed Maintain clinic cleanliness Experience Open to experienced or new applicants who are willing to learn and grow.
