Overview SKN Dermatology is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant and a Part-time Medical Assistant to become a valued member of our team. We are physician-owned boutique practice specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, dedicated to delivering superior dermatologic care and individualized attention to our patients.         Collaborative Team Culture:
        We foster a supportive and collegial atmosphere, valuing each team member's contributions. As a physician-owned practice, we maintain close working relationships between physicians, providers and staff, which distinct from the structure of larger corporate healthcare organizations. Duties include but are not limited to:
        • Room patients; intake, update medical history.
        • Communicate with provider and transcribe during visit.
        • Coordinate patient's care and follow through on provider orders.
        • Daily triage of patients' concerns via telephone and email messages.
        • Assist providers with in-office procedures (cosmetic and surgical procedures)
        • Assist with prior authorizations.
        • Cleaning/stocking of rooms and instruments.
        Qualifications /
        Skills Desired:
        • Experience in dermatology preferred but not required (will train the right candidate).
        • EMR system (Modernizing Medicine): 1 year (preferred)
        • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
        • Proficient in MS Office and preferred experience with electronic medical records.
        • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
        • Ability to maintain regular attendance.
        • Compliant with OSHA and HIPAA requirements.
        • Excellent teamwork skills: team player and willingness to laugh and have fun.
        • Excited to experience new things and continue learning.
        Education:
        High School or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
        Pay:
        From $24.00 per hour
