Medical Assistant

## Job Overview We are looking for a motivated, personable, professional individual wishing to pursue a career as a medical assistant in our busy dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will preferably have dermatology experience and provide essential support to medical professionals in various clinical settings. ## Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Perform medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Administer medications under the direction of a physician
• Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
• Prepare patients for medical tests and procedures
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, stocked, and organized ## Skills
• Assist with surgical procedures
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Ability to perform inpatient and outpatient duties
• Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures
• Strong patient service skills
• Familiarity with emergency medicine and internal medicine practices
• Understanding of physiology and vital signs monitoring
