Job Description

Medical Assistant (MA)•
Outpatient Clinic Location:
Arcadia, CA 91007
Shift:
Day Shift•Monday-Friday (8:00 AM•5:00 PM)
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS
•PLEASE READ Minimum 2 years outpatient Medical Assistant experience
REQUIRED
Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP‑accredited program
REQUIRED
Epic EMR experience
REQUIRED
Venipuncture experience
REQUIRED BLS
certification (AHA or ARC only) Key Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs (height, weight, BP, pulse oximetry) Update patient history, medications, and allergies Perform venipuncture and specimen collection (UA/clean catch, wound specimens) Administer immunizations and intramuscular injections Assist with procedures including casting, dressing changes, wound care, and suture removal Handle authorization forms, insurance verification, and pharmacy refill requests Perform telephone triage and follow‑up calls Prepare exam rooms and support clinic workflow Document all care accurately in Epic Required Qualifications High School diploma or GED Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP‑accredited program Minimum 2 years outpatient MA experience BLS certification (AHA or ARC only) Epic EMR experience
Pay:
$24.57•$32.00 per hour
