Job Summary and Qualifications:

Qualified applicants must be a quick learner, have excellent typing, grammatical and communication skills and be proficient with iPads and computers. Candidate must also have the ability to multitask, demonstrate efficient time management, be flexible with assignment and have organizational skills. Being a team player and possessing a positive attitude and demonstrating flexibility is a must. Prior experience with EMR software and scribing is a plus. Must be multi-faceted and able to cross-train and assist in a variety of functions within the organization. Serves as liaison between providers and patients as necessary. Current CPR certification. Phlebotomy certificate preferred. Associate degree from a certified program preferred. Certification only and/or MA experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Hourly compensation will depend on certification, degree and or experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares exam rooms for patient visit
• Room Patient and assist provider
• Obtain pertinent information for the visit and document in EMR
• Maintain all aspects of HIPAA compliance
• Document provider care delivery, patient condition, reaction and progress
• Provide patient education
• Assist with medical procedures
• Change dressings and provide wound care
• Assist Providers with collection of lab samples and procedures as directed by the Provider
• Handle patient correspondence
• Articulate and proficient in English language. Bilingual is preferred.
• Cover regional office as needed
• Flexible in all job assignments/Other tasks as necessary
