Medical Assistant-must have CCMA, CMA or RMA

Overview:

We are looking for a committed Certified/Registered Medical Assistant to become a part of our healthcare team. The perfect candidate will be a collaborative team player, assisting medical staff to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs
• Prior authorizations for medications, medical tests and clinical orders
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical charting
• Conduct PFTS
• Coordinate patient referrals and follow-ups
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
• Provide exceptional patient service and support

Requirements:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant
• Proficiency in basic life support (BLS)
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
• Experience in medical administrative support
• Ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Familiarity with Pulmonology practices
• Knowledge of PFTS is a plus
