Medical Assistant Pediatrics

Looking for a Part time/Per Diem Certified Medical Assistant with experience in the medical field (Primary Care / Pediatric experience is a plus), Candidate must be dependable, able to multi-task, and work well as part of a team!

Responsibilities include:

• Working under the direction of a licensed medical provider to assist in the examination and treatment of patients
• Ensuring adequate inventory of supplies and keeping exam rooms cleaned and stocked appropriately
• Answering multi-line phones, requesting medical records, scanning/ sending documents and completing daily patient callbacks.
• Processing Medication & Image Prior Authorizations.
• Administering Injections/ have familiarity of state and private vaccine handling & storage.
• Basic knowledge of computer skills.

Electronic Health Records (EHR) experience required, Athena experience preferred. Includes ability to appropriately document, compiling laboratory/imaging results, and ensuring appropriate clinical consult notes received prior to office visit.

Pay:

From $19.00 per hour
