Medical Assistant/Imaging Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant/Imaging Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of medical procedures, imaging techniques, and patient support, ensuring high-quality care in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. This position is vital in supporting physicians and healthcare providers by delivering efficient clinical assistance and accurate imaging services within a fast-paced, professional atmosphere. Responsibilities Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, patient intake, and updating medical records accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Assist with patient examinations, including positioning for X-ray procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout imaging processes. Operate diagnostic imaging equipment such as FibroScan for liver imaging Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of clinical areas and imaging equipment in compliance with health regulations. Requirements Certification as a Medical Assistant or Imaging Technician with relevant training in medical imaging or related fields. Experience working in medical office setting preferred. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation and patient assessment. Proficiency with EHR systems for documenting patient information efficiently and securely. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
