This role combines front-office administrative support with vital clinical tasks, ensuring seamless patient flow and exceptional care delivery. Whether managing patient check-ins or assisting with urologic clinical procedures, you will be at the heart of our patient-centered environment, fostering a welcoming atmosphere while supporting medical professionals. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in processes using SIS, ECW, or Veradym. Collect and document vital signs, medical histories, and reason for visit to assist clinicians in providing accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Prepare rooms by ensuring cleanliness, sterilization, and readiness for patient procedures. Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks including specimen collection, ICD coding for diagnoses, and supporting procedures in an outpatient setting. Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake forms, insurance verification, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic workflow. Maintain accurate medical records, update patient charts with detailed notes on physiology knowledge, anatomy insights, and medication details. Skills Strong understanding of medical terminology in urology or uro/gyn medical-surgical environments. Proven experience with EHR systems for documentation of patient information and ICD coding accuracy. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations in outpatient or hospital settings. Familiarity with physiology principles and anatomy Experience working in hospital environments such as Level II trauma centers or Geriatrics clinics is highly desirable. This role is essential in delivering outstanding patient care while supporting our healthcare team's operational excellence.
