• Review claims, make adjustments, handle appeals, and ensure full payment collection
• Ensure proper coding and modifiers per payer policies
• Communicate with patients and front desk regarding balances and collecting payments
• Maintain billing records and documentation in an organized manner
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy and timeliness

Qualifications:

• Experience with ModMed billing processes preferred and may be required
• Must have experience with

• Ability to work denials, rejections, and aging AR
• Familiar with Medicare and commercial payer guidelines
• Strong attention to detail
