Medical Biller

Description We are seeking a Medical Biller to support accurate and timely billing operations for a healthcare organization. This role is responsible for claim submission, payment posting, follow‑up, and resolving billing discrepancies to ensure clean claims and steady revenue flow.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance carriers and government payers + Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and authorization prior to billing + Post payments, adjustments, and denials accurately in the billing system + Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims and resolve billing rejections + Review EOBs/ERAs and research discrepancies or payer issues + Work closely with coding, registration, and clinical teams to correct errors and reduce denials + Maintain clear, compliant billing documentation and audit‑ready records + Ensure adherence to payer requirements, HIPAA guidelines, and internal billing policies

Requirements Qualifications:

+ 1+ year of medical billing experience + Strong understanding of insurance billing processes, claim workflows, and payment posting + Experience billing commercial insurance, Medicare, and/or Medicaid + Familiarity with medical billing systems and electronic claim submission + High level of accuracy and the ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines Preferred (Not Required): + Experience with

CPT, ICD

‑10, and HCPCS codes + Background in a physician practice, hospital, or healthcare billing office + Exposure to denial management or AR follow‑up + Certification such as CPB or CPC Apply online today!
