We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound & Echocardiogram Technologist on a PRN/contract basis . Position Overview This is a flexible, as-needed role ideal for a skilled sonographer who is confident performing both general ultrasound and echocardiography . The position is designed for professionals seeking autonomy and schedule flexibility while working in a well-supported outpatient setting. PRN/Contract Sonographer - Flexible schedule, strong hourly pay, no hospital call. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams (abdominal, vascular, and other general studies as needed) Perform transthoracic echocardiograms with accuracy and efficiency Ensure high-quality imaging and proper documentation Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to safety standards Collaborate with providers to support clinical decision-making Qualifications Registered or registry-eligible in ARDMS and/or CCI (required or strongly preferred) Experience in both general ultrasound and echocardiography Strong attention to detail and patient care skills Ability to work independently in a clinical setting Current BLS certification preferred Compensation $40 - $60 per hour , depending on experience and certifications Schedule PRN / As-needed coverage (8 hours/wkly - 1-2 days per week) Flexible scheduling based on availability and patient volume Opportunity for increased volume as services expand Why Join Cedar Grove Medical Associates?
