Job Summary Our client is seeking a Medical Front Desk Specialist to join the team and help deliver an exceptional experience for patients and visitors from the moment they walk through the door. Key Responsibilities Warmly welcome and assist patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner. Enter basic demographic and insurance information into the system accurately. Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at the time of the visit. Verify insurance coverage and confirm eligibility. Secure referrals and authorizations when necessary. Schedule patient appointments efficiently and accurately. Willingness to travel to other office locations within Sussex, Warren, and Morris counties, as needed. Participate in a rotating weekend schedule as required. Support the Office Manager with various administrative and clerical tasks as assigned. Qualifications Prior experience as a medical receptionist. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is required. Ability to travel to other locations in Sussex, Warren, and Morris counties as needed. Background in orthopedics is a plus. Skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused, positive attitude. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel and participate in a rotating weekend schedule.
