Compensation & Schedule:
$22-26/hour based on experience and qualifications Full-time, on-site position Monday-Friday hours, no weekends, occasional evenings

Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out processes Handle multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries Process insurance verifications, authorizations, and patient registration Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records (EMR) system Collect co-pays and assist with billing procedures Coordinate patient flow and support clinical staff with administrative tasks Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications:
Must Have:
2+ years professional office experience with administrative duties (medical offices, corporate settings, or professional services) Strong software skills with databases, scheduling systems, or EMR platforms (we use EyeMD EMR and Open PM) Excellent customer service and professional communication skills Understanding of confidential information handling and
HIPAA/PHI
requirements High school diploma or equivalent
Strongly Preferred:
Medical office or healthcare administrative experience EMR systems experience (Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, NextGen) Insurance verification and billing knowledge Medical terminology familiarity Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) Ready to Apply?
