Medical Receptionist

Overview DD Podiatry is a new podiatry office in McLean, VA specializing in regenerative medicine and aesthetics of the feet. We offer medical and cosmetic treatments. We are seeking a motivated Medical Receptionist to join us in a practice that is truly unique to the DMV area. Responsibilities The Medical Front Desk Receptionist is essential in establishing a professional first impression to patients and the public Kindly welcome patients upon arrival and navigate them through the check in process Answer incoming calls and answer any questions patients may have Manage incoming and outgoing faxes Schedules appointments through our medical record system Responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining patient history Manage and maintain schedules of multiple providers Collect in-person and online payments Maintain office inventory Assist with additional office tasks as necessary Maintain a clean and orderly waiting room Turnover exam room between patients Requirements 2 + years admin support in a medical environment preferred Knowledge about medical terminology Must have excellent customer service skills and sales experience is a plus Ability to maintain professionalism Team player Communication skills is a must The ability to uphold HIPAA compliance is mandatory. Able to learn new softwares
