Temp RPM Staffing is seeking a Medical Receptionist in Sherman, TX! The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to a medical office, clinic, or healthcare facility. This role serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and efficient experience while coordinating scheduling, patient records, and communication between patients and healthcare staff. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments Verify insurance information and collect copays or payments Maintain accurate patient records and update information in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Check patients in and out for appointments Coordinate communication between patients, providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails Ensure the reception and waiting areas remain clean and organized Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous receptionist, administrative, or healthcare office experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus Proficiency with computers, scheduling software, and EMR systems Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor Skills and Competencies Excellent organizational skills Attention to detail Time management Problem-solving abilities Strong interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism If interested, please apply today at rpmstaffing.net Apply with Us Favorite Favorite
