Supervisor Title Division Chair - Business and Information Technologies Location Online Job Description - Summary The adjunct instructor will teach Medical Terminology I courses within the Medical Office Administration and Physical Therapy programs. Instruction will be delivered online and aligned with college-level standards to promote student success. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teaching Responsibilities Conduct all assigned classes in a professional manner in accordance with the course schedule and academic calendar. Develop and maintain syllabi that meet Faculty Syllabus Checklist requirements. Design, administer, and assess assignments aligned with general education requirements and the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). Maintain accurate attendance records, grades, and required documentation. Assist in textbook selection and ensure course materials remain current. Participate in institutional effectiveness efforts. Submit student work when required for General Education Assessment. Support student success through supplemental instruction. Adhere to all college policies and procedures. Maintain responsibility for assigned equipment and instructional materials. Professional Development Participate in required on-campus professional development activities. Engage in additional college-sponsored development opportunities as available. Additional Skills Commitment to the mission and philosophy of the community college system. Required Qualifications Associate degree in a healthcare field or Medical Office Administration. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Established for each curriculum program. Contact Division Chair or Dean for specifics.
