Full-time - Night Shift (10pm - 6am); Full-time Evening (2pm-10pm)Location:
Ovation Sienna Hills, 1525 E Ovation Place, Washington, UT 84780 Apply at: www.teamavamere.com The Medication Aide / Tech administers routine medications and documents administration per policy while supporting resident care and reporting concerns to nursing leadership.Responsibilities:
Verify ID of resident prior to medication administration Administer medications per physician order and document it was given. Report to Team Leader any errors, refusal or reactions to medications immediately. Report to Team Leader and complete medication error incident report when there is an error in the administration of medications. Ensure medications are properly labeled and stored according to medication instructions. Ensure medications are reordered when necessary and destroyed as indicated. Complete proper medication destruction. Narcotics should be destroyed with Med Tech and LPN/RN witnessed and cosigned. Non narcotics should be destroyed by Med Tech or LPN Report any complaints or grievances made by residents to the Team Leader. Attend and participate in care plan meetings as necessary. Accurately and sagely prepare, administer, and document the oral and/or topical medications that are commonly used in this Community and that may be ordered for resident use by the physician or the Medical Director. Perform as Caregiver/CNA when not passing medications. Ensure that an adequate supply of floor medications is on hand to meet the nursing needs of the residents. Reorder as needed. Report needs for supplies and/or equipment to Resident Care Coordinator. Complete Ovation, Relias and Inservice training as required by Ovation and State Law.Employee Perks:
