Melt Shop Crew Member II Wage:

$19.50 then $20.00 when probationary period ends (.50 cent differential for night shift)Day shift: 7am to 7pm / 4 on, 4 offNight shift: 7pm to 7am / 4 on, 4 off12-hour shifts / Steady days/nightsPrior steel mill or industrial furnace experience Tow motor and crane experience are required and welding experience a plus!

Must have reliable transportation DutiesAssisting operators with creating steel ingots from scratchPreparing raw materials for melting processHelping with pouring & molding processOrganizing breaking down and re-building launders with the use of hand tools, air powered tools use of overhead crane is also requiredMoves materials via tow motor and/or remove them with overhead craneHousekeeping and organizingTools/equipment used: including but not limited to, IR Thermometer, calipers, measuring stick, tape measure, hot chalk, paint markers, go/no-go tools, TC load material and tools, label printers, stacker crane, forklift, furnace controllers.
