Memory Care Director, Assisted Living 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars Burlington, MA 01803 Full-time The Northbridge Companies Home Office 177 reviews Full-time Inspiring Success, Creating Community Memory Care Director - Avita Program Job Summary The Memory Care Director will orchestrate engagements that foster purpose, spark joy, create community, and enhance the well-being of all our residents. This position will lead a team of associates, provide ongoing training and be the onsite expert for all things memory care. This position plays a key role in the community's relationship with families and care partners to make a real difference in our residents' lives. This position is full-time and will require some weekends.
Responsibilities :
Supports the development and oversight of service plans unique to each resident to ensure their overall wellness. Assist the RCD with the implementation of the SAMM medication management program. Collaborate and maintain routine communication with families and community agencies. Role model care techniques to staff and educate as needed. Develop and facilitate engagement opportunities that maximize resident participation. Conduct lifestyle interviews. Develop monthly newsletter and calendar relevant to resident population.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent experience with the aging process and/or disability issues. Previous experience working with memory impaired elderly in a paid or volunteer position. Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the geriatric field. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, community officials and the public. Ability to be flexible and work in an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration. Valid driver's license. Benefits of Joining our
