Salary Salary is commensurate based on qualifications and relevant experience Pay Basis Monthly Job Summary The Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach will oversee all aspects of strength and conditioning for Men's Basketball. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Design and implement year-round strength and conditioning training programs for Men's Basketball. Distribute nutritional supplements and educate the student-athletes on nutrition. Collaborate with athletic training staff to accommodate for any injured athlete and make necessary modifications. Collaborate with Men's Basketball staff regarding the program and progress. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified Certification ( SCCC ) or Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification ( CSCS ). CPR /first aid/ AED certified. Two (2) years of previous experience in being the sole strength and conditioning Coach for a collegiate Men's Basketball team. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree. More than three (3) years of previous experience in being the sole strength and conditioning Coach for an NCAA Division1 Men's Basketball team. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated knowledge of designing and implementing comprehensive, year-round strength and conditioning programs tailored to the specific performance needs of Men's Basketball. Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations to ensure compliance. Skilled in nutritional supplements and educating student-athletes on proper nutrition and performance-enhancing dietary habits.. Ability to collaborate to ensure nutritional and physical training plans support recovery and long-term athlete health. Ability to work collaboratively with sport coaches, fellow strength staff and sports medicine staff to modify programs for injured athletes.
