Mental Health Counselor

Heritage Christian Counseling of Shelby office, is a Faith-based agency is looking to hire a Licensed Clinician who has a desire to work with kids, adolescents and adults. We provide services in office and via telehealth. Candidates must be licensed in the state of Ohio and/or be an intern with the state of Ohio. We are also open to talking to a candidate who is a Certified Life Coach. This opening is a Contract or Fee For Service position. Looking for candidates who are self-motivating and independent with some direct supervision. Caseload will depend upon counselor's availability and clientele needs. The position has the option of part-time or full-time.

Hours:

Flexible. We are open Monday - Friday 9 am -8 pm. Late afternoons and evenings hours are needed to meet the needs of clients. Hours are flexible. Responsibilities include face to face sessions, documentation of sessions, completion of Treatment Plans, updates as needed, administration of assessments as needed, interaction with parents or guardians, and attendance at our weekly Supervision/Staff meeting. Our office is family oriented, quiet and comfortable. Our clinicians do not have a mandated productivity to meet, our documentation is streamlined and electronic making it quick and easy. Because we are a private agency, with one soul owner, we do not have the reports and mandates of agencies owned by large companies. We have EXPANDED and have a waiting list!
