Assistant MEP Construction/ Commissioning ManagerLocation:
Barstow, TX (Project-Based Travel Across Texas)Salary:
$120,000 - $140,000 + Strong Per Diem +Full Company Benefits Work Arrangement:
On-site with some hybrid flexibilityThe OpportunityWe are currently seeking an Assistant MEP / Commissioning Manager to support mission-critical construction projects across Texas, with an initial focus in the Barstow, TX region. This role is ideal for a technically strong MEP professional who enjoys being close to the build, working on complex systems, and supporting the delivery of high-performing data center and mission-critical facilities.You will work closely with senior MEP and commissioning leadership while gaining hands-on exposure to large-scale, fast-paced projects in remote and high-growth locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the MEP and Commissioning Managers through all phases of construction and commissioningAssist with commissioning planning, execution, and documentation for mission-critical facilitiesSupport QA/QC processes across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systemsCoordinate with general contractors, trade partners, commissioning agents, and design teamsParticipate in inspections, testing, turnover, and closeout activitiesTrack and report on system readiness, deficiencies, and commissioning progressBe present on-site while maintaining some hybrid flexibility depending on project demandsRequired Experience & Qualifications3+ years of MEP construction experience on commercial or mission-critical projects3+ years of commissioning and/or QA/QC experience, ideally on data centers or other mission-critical facilitiesSolid understanding of MEP systems, installation sequencing, and testing processesWillingness and flexibility to travel to remote project locations across TexasStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in field-based project teamsCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $120,000 - $140,000 (depending on experience)Strong per diem package for project travelComprehensive health, dental, and vision benefitsRetirement plan and additional company benefitsLong-term growth opportunity within a rapidly expanding mission-critical platform
