Job Description

Overview:
Jetta Operating Company, Inc. is a privately held oil and gas company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. Position Summary:
The Production Foreman oversees West Texas production staff within assigned field(s), directing day-to-day operations to optimize production equipment performance and maximize efficiency. This role oversees production reporting, with a strong emphasis on well-testing activities. The Production Foreman manages cost control across AFE and LOE projects, as well as special projects, and partners closely with the Area Superintendent on job planning and execution. This position plays a key role in fostering a positive team culture and maintaining a strong HSE-conscious environment in both the office and field.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and mentoring to their team as well as subcontractors in the office and in the field. Must have experience with process flow, rod pumping unit, gas lift, electrical submersible pump, and plunger lift. Must have experience troubleshooting facility operations including instrumentation, measurement, and automation equipment. Understand operating expense statements and use past performance to optimize overall field efficiencies as possible. Travel to various fields and maintain contact with the field staff at all disciplines. Work synergistically with corporate staff. Provide sound counsel to the field team and others throughout the organization regarding anything related to operations and production. Provide support to all drilling and completions operations. Should be able to perform the duties otherwise carried out by the Area Superintendent in the absence of the Area Superintendent. Responsible for HSE for West Texas operations and ensuring those standards are known and being met. Responsible for maintenance, safety, and overall condition of the company vehicle fleet. Assist superintendent with regulatory items including site interactions and digital communications. Maintain strong inter-departmental relationships across the organization.
Required Skills:
High level of experience in process flow with familiarity across all common lift types. Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office as well as production software (EVIN and Carte). Ability to effectively communicate. Build and lead a team.
Desired skills:
Past leadership/management roles are a plus. Previous roles as a team builder, project manager, or leader. Experience with all forms of producing and disposal well remediation and workover scenarios to maintain, improve, and abandon assets over their useful life. Experience with producing and disposal well construction and intervention industry-accepted best practices in support of all Drilling and Completion Operations. The ability to speak, present, and motivate teams.
Education and Experience:
Eight (8) years of industry experience. Demonstrated ability to comprehend, retain, and comply with verbal and written driver safety standards established by Jetta, and monitored through company vehicle safety monitoring program. Must have a minimum of three (3) years' driving experience. Must have and maintain a valid and unexpired Texas Driver License. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Climbing 16' or 25' stairs Frequently lifting, up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance Occasionally working in severe weather conditions including extreme hot and cold temperatures Muddy and wet conditions are frequent H2S Certification will be required within 90 days of employment; Company provides training
