Job Description
International Merchandiser We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized International Merchandiser to join our team in Atlanta. As an International Merchandiser, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing products from various countries to be sold in our stores. Your main duties will include researching and evaluating potential vendors, negotiating prices and contracts, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2+ years of experience in merchandising or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and procedures
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
- Fluent in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
Responsibilities:
- Identify potential vendors in different countries based on product needs and quality requirements
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, prices, and competitors' offerings
- Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms with vendors while ensuring cost-effectiveness for the company
- Communicate with vendors regarding order specifications, production timelines, and shipment details
- Monitor production progress to ensure timely delivery of products as per the company's requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, marketing, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
- Regularly review vendor performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of all product information, pricing, contracts, shipments, etc.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations to ensure compliance This position offers a salary of $900 per month along with visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
