Metal Casting and Sand Blast Laborer

American Bronze Foundry manufactures fine art bronze sculpture, monuments, awards, plaques and more. We are currently hiring for an entry level position our Casting department.

Working in this department includes:

Operating a Kiln and Induction Furnace, pulling ceramic shell molds and inspecting them before casting, putting them into the hot kiln, monitoring them to reach the correct temperature for casting. Melting the bronze ingots and pouring them into the shells. Breaking off ceramic shell from bronze castings, using a sandblaster and plasma cutter. This position will also back up the shell room and requires heavy lifting and repetitive motion. You must be able to wear a dust mask and/or respirator during certain tasks. We will train for this position. Must pass drug test.
