Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Metal Container Painter, where you will play a vital role in transforming raw metal components into high-quality, finished containers. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of painting techniques and tools, ensuring each product meets our rigorous standards for durability and appearance. You will be responsible for sanding, prepping, and painting metal containers. Responsibilities Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Operate airless paint sprayers, spray guns, and other power tools to apply coatings efficiently and evenly. Use precision measuring instruments and hand tools to verify dimensions and surface quality throughout the painting process. Handle materials safely using forklifts, cranes, and other materials handling equipment to move large or heavy containers. Follow safety protocols diligently when working with chemicals, paints, and industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment calibration, and proper storage of paints and supplies. Experience Prior experience in industrial or auto painting is highly desirable, especially within manufacturing or construction settings. Hands-on knowledge Warehouse experience involving materials handling with forklifts or cranes enhances your suitability for this role. Ability to use precision measuring instruments and basic math skills for quality control purposes. Experience working with power tools, hand tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and welding tools is beneficial. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards will set you apart as a candidate
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
