Full-Time Location:

Holyoke, MA D&S Plating Co. is looking to hire a Metal Polisher / Buffer to join our metal finishing team in Holyoke, MA. This position involves polishing, buffing, deburring, and grinding a variety of metals including brass, zinc, and stainless steel. We welcome applicants with or without prior experience — training will be provided. Experienced candidates may qualify for higher pay.

Responsibilities:

Polish and buff metal parts to remove surface defects, shape or contour parts, and achieve a smooth or mirror-like finish. Deburr and grind using both machinery and hand tools such as die grinders. Select appropriate abrasive belts, wheels, and tools based on the finish and materials. Perform both high-volume production work and custom finishing. Read and follow basic fabrication drawings (training provided if needed).

Qualifications:

No prior experience required — we will train the right candidate. Experience in metal polishing or buffing is a plus and will be considered when determining pay. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment.
