Our customer is a large commercial and industrial interior wall contractor. with immediate need for experienced metal wall and drywall sheetrock Foreman in Spartanburg county, SC area. Working foreman will perform all duties of directing crews in erecting and finishing interior walls. Long term assignment with lots of overtime (working 6-7 days per week).

NOTE :

New construction with weekly work schedule working 13 days on 1 day off.

Locals preferred:

No per diem or travel expense available.

Need immediately:

foreman and wall framers and top helpers with commercial or industrial experience to assist the team with installation, upgrades and repairs to interior commercial buildings.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervise and coordinate commercial framing and drywall projects from start to finish
• Collaborate with project managers, and GC to ensure project success
• Review project plans and blueprints to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Monitor and enforce safety regulations and OSHA standards on the construction site
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction Skills that help succeed:
• Proficient in takeoff software for estimating and construction of plans/projects
• Requires OSHA 30 certs regulations and safety protocols in construction industry
• Experience in both light gauge and heavy gauge metal stud framing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans MUST have

PPE and Safety Specifics:

We are looking for a foreman that is capable of taking care of specific tasks with limited supervision. Must be experienced in managing a helper, and daily assigned tasks. Must have an understanding of how to gather parts and pieces for the assigned daily tasks. Must be able to understand and be able to read constructions drawings/prints. Must be able to take direction from the job superintendent to accomplish daily tasks. Must have their own hand tools, and basic PPE

• hard hat, vest, safety glasses, steel toed boots. Must have proper job site conduct, and punctuality. required
• OSHA 30 certification (for safety).

Must have reliable transportation Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work from a ladder or scaffold, work overhead, and perform without hindrance activities that involve repetitive reaching, stretching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and/or bending. They must also be able to work in varied climate conditions, and should possess good balance, depth perception, eye-hand coordination, and the stamina to perform physically demanding construction work. Above all, a candidate must be able to safely perform the duties and responsibilities normally and reasonably expected of a tradesperson in their position. Additional Requirements and/or Expectations Applicants must pass a mandatory drug screen. Applicants must pass a criminal background check Applicants must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.
