As Metallurgy Manager, you will lead a high-performing laboratory team while driving operational excellence, technical execution, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment serving world-class aerospace clients including Boeing, SpaceX, and Blue Origin. ing directly to the General Manager, this hands-on leadership rolebines technical expertise, team development, project oversight, and operational accountability. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about mentoring others, solvingplex problems, and delivering high-quality results. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Metallurgy team through coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance Perform and oversee laboratory testing and data generation activities Ensure accurate interpretation of testing procedures, specifications, and customer requirements Drive performance across safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery metrics Support operational excellence initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Provide weekly operational metric reporting to leadership teams Train and develop laboratory personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration Partner closely with Operations and leadership teams to achieve business objectives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in technical or vocational training in metallurgy or a related field, or an equivalentbination of education and experience Strong ability to solve practical problems and work effectively in environments with limited standardization Experience interpreting testing procedures, technical specifications, blues, and customer requirements Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel Stronganizational,munication, and leadership skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team oriented environment Compensation in $120k range + bonus and full benefits.
Pay Details:
