A growing technical services organization supporting highly regulated pharmaceutical, biotech, and manufacturing environments is seeking an experienced Metrologist to join its New Jersey team. If you're the person others turn to for solving complex calibration issues, improving measurement systems, and ensuring instrumentation accuracy in GMP/FDA-regulated environments, this is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of critical calibration operations. This is not a routine calibration role — we're looking for a true measurement science/calibration expert who can troubleshoot, analyze trends, investigate failures, and improve systems across manufacturing and laboratory operations.
What You'll Do:
Lead calibration and metrology activities across GMP manufacturing and lab environments Troubleshoot complex calibration and instrumentation issues Perform root cause investigations, trend analysis, and corrective action recommendations Develop, improve, and oversee calibration procedures and measurement systems Establish tolerances, specifications, and accuracy requirements Review calibration documentation, certificates, and compliance records Support calibration management systems, reporting, and validation activities Train internal teams on calibration best practices and standards
What You Bring:
5+ years of metrology, calibration, or measurement science experience Strong background in GMP/FDA regulated environments Experience supporting calibration of instrumentation/test equipment (electrical, mechanical, physical, dimensional, environmental, etc.) Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Strong documentation and compliance mindset Experience in pharma, biotech, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing preferred Why This Opportunity?
