This position is responsible for monitoring driver activity, assigning routes, maintaining accurate records, and supporting operational continuity through effective communication and coordination.

Monitor sign-in/sign-out times for all routes. Ensure all routes are assigned and covered, utilizing Extraboard drivers as needed. Record and communicate any bus or personnel changes. Promote and uphold a "Safety First" culture. Ensure drivers are fit for duty, in proper uniform, and possess all required credentials. Perform opening and closing tasks. Receive and document driver call-offs; track daily attendance and escalate issues to management. Monitor the lot to ensure timely departures. Maintain an accurate daily dispatch log, including vehicle status, replacements, open routes, and sub assignments. Record all late pullouts with documented reasons. Collect and organize late slips, exception reports, and other driver documentation. Answer incoming calls per Standard Operating Procedures and provide timely follow-up. Coordinate with client radio dispatchers to resolve service interruptions quickly. Distribute memos, updates, and run assignments to drivers in a timely manner. Audit Ecolane data, count farebox revenue, prepare deposits, and complete required reports. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.Qualifications :
Prior experience in transportation dispatch or operations preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations. Commitment to safety and customer service excellence.Physical Requirements:
