Our interns provide support to professional employees working in an organizational function related to the intern's area of study.

Job Description Key Accountabilities:

This individual will be tasked with learning about the warehousing and logistics capabilities of tkSCSTheir "project" will require them to train and learn about the functionality of packaging/load optimization software, transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and network optimization software.

This individual should be a Junior, as we would like to develop the over the course of the next year and a half so that they can be hired on as a "4PL" analyst.

There will be opportunities for this individual to travel to other TK offices in order to collaborate with other groups (TMC, NBD, Finance, IT, etc) but will be based out of BTN.Learns organizational processes and proceduresContributes to assigned projects and may assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or recordsWorks in team environment, communicating as required with all personnelAssembles information in a timely and efficient mannerResponds to telephone calls and emailsCollaborates with staff and departments in preparing special projectsMeets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job. Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Currently enrolled or recently graduated (within 1-year) from an accredited university or college. • Project planning skills.

Entry-level knowledge and skill within specified area of professional specialty.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Ability to understand and follow complex, detailed technical instructions.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Applicants should be competitive, assertive, and self-motivatedMust have the ability to think critically, multi-task, and keep up in a fast-paced environment is critical.
