Duties Provide expert clinical assessments and deliver specialized treatments across multiple medical fields including psychiatry, cardiology, neurology, and more. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic and EMR platforms to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Perform diagnostic evaluations using advanced imaging techniques like CT scans, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology tools. Manage complex procedures including catheterization, neurocritical care interventions, airway management, and wound care with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans, coordinate discharge planning, and ensure seamless patient transitions across inpatient and outpatient settings. Conduct patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical history reviews to inform treatment strategies. Support clinical research initiatives by collecting data, maintaining medical records, and adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Requirements Proven experience working with EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; familiarity with medical coding (CPT, ICD) is preferred. Strong knowledge of various medical specialties including psychiatry, ophthalmology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and interventional radiology. Demonstrated proficiency in performing medical procedures such as suturing, IV infusions, spinal taps, and ostomy care. Critical care experience in settings like ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly desirable. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to perform physical examinations and conduct thorough patient assessments. Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in advanced airway management or ventilator operation are advantageous. Ability to work effectively in hospital environments with a focus on acute care, post-operative recovery, or hospice & palliative medicine.
