In this role, you will support day-to-day translational research studies and laboratory assay development operations within a clinical laboratory environment. This role focuses primarily on DNA extraction, sequencing, microbiology culturing, and assay result documentation while supporting the development of a quality-guided sequencing workflow and microbiome bioinformatics pipeline. The individual will collaborate with the clinical laboratory team to support manufacturing, stability testing, and future pre-clinical studies. Responsibilities include executing experiments, documenting results, contributing to study protocol development, and ensuring the generation of high-quality, GxPpliant data.

Lower Gwynedd, Pennsylvania Position type: Minimum 6-month temp/contract role (possible extension)

Fully On-Site | Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Rate:

$58.03/HOUR Key Responsibilities Perform DNA extraction, sequencing, and microbiology culturing procedures Execute translational research studies and laboratory assays according to established protocols Document assay results accurately and maintain detailed laboratory records Assist in the development and optimization of sequencing workflows and microbiome bioinformatics pipelines Support manufacturing, stability, and pre-clinical research activities Contribute to study protocol writing and experimental documentation Ensurepliance with GxP standards, laboratory safety guidelines, and quality procedures Analyze and interpret experimental and analytical data Collaborate with cross-functional laboratory and research teams Participate in troubleshooting assay performance and identifying process improvements Support laboratoryanization, inventory management, and equipment maintenance as needed Required Skills & Qualifications Hands-on experience with DNA extraction Experience with sequencing technologies and workflows Microbiology culturing experience Experience writing or contributing to study protocols Strong documentation skills for recording assay results and laboratory findings Strong analytical,anizational, andmunication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a laboratory environment Attention to detail andmitment to producing high-quality data Preferred Skills Experiment planning and scientific ideation Metabolomic data analysis experience Experience using GitHub and Posit Cell culturing experience Familiarity with microbiome or bioinformatics workflows Project coordination or project management experience Education Requirements Master's degree or PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, or related field preferred Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of highly relevant laboratory and research experience will also be considered Additional experience requirements include: 5 years of analytics and data interpretation experience (graduate and post-graduate work may be included) Minimum 2 years of digital proficiency experience 1 year of project management experience preferred Why work for Adecco?
