Microschool Support Staff

Job description: Job Summary Training is provided! We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Microschool Support Staff to join our vibrant educational community! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing, engaging, and well-managed learning environment for our learners. Your energy and commitment will help foster a positive atmosphere where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our school serves children from kindergarten to 12th grade. We also have an emphasis in children with special needs. Responsibilities Assist in managing activities to ensure a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for students. Support teachers with lesson preparation, classroom setup, and student engagement strategies. Provide supervision during activities such as recess, lunch, and transitions to maintain order and promote positive behavior. Implement behavior management techniques to encourage respectful interactions and social-emotional development. Offer one-on-one or small group tutoring to reinforce learning concepts across various subjects. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and well-being. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, camp, tutoring, or childcare is a plus. Experience working with students with special needs or in special education settings is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members. Must be able to pass a background check. Willingness to learn a while new approach to education.

$13.00 per hour
