Job DescriptionJob Description Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings. As a NP or PA, you will be responsible for assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments of patients.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and catheterization as required.

Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers in managing patient care.

Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Educate patients and families on health management, preventive care, and treatment options.

Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care practices. Skills Candidates should possess a diverse skill set that includes, but is not limited to: Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Meditech.

Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding.

Familiarity with specialties such as gastroenterology, pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, and pain management.

Competence in performing diagnostic evaluations and procedures.

Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to interpret vital signs and laboratory results.

Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children, seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
