Aug 20, 2026 Job Description Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 interventions (classroom lessons, individual and small group counseling) per special education requirements, 504 plans or demonstrated need based on data with a focus on skills building. Plan, organize, and deliver a comprehensive school counseling program in classrooms, small groups, and individually. These lessons will address academic and social/emotional domains to ensure all students participate during all aspects of the school day . Consult and collaborate with other school personnel in establishing support for students in need and in understanding the physical, social, emotional, and psychological factors that strengthen or detract from a student's academic achievement. Support the implementation of restorative and relationship centered learning practices including but not limited to student to student mediations, student to staff mediations, and community building circles. Provide classroom push in support as requested by staff or administrators that supports the implementation of a high expectations learning environment. Support students in selecting courses/pathways that align with their goals. Ensure that all students have complete schedules. Conduct risk assessments with students, consult with community emergency services providers and refer students for evaluation as needed. Communicate regularly with and work collaboratively with families of students receiving services. Consult and coordinate with community service providers when Appropriate. Participate in IEP and 504 meetings. Participate as a member of the school PBIS and MTSS teams. Meet documentation requirements pertaining to IEP's, mandated reporting, Attend professional development opportunities to maintain a high level of skill and knowledge of current research and practices. Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
