Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential speech-language support in a dynamic school environment! This contract opportunity lets you impact learners across elementary, middle, and high school settings, with the added focus of delivering personalized, one-on-one services. Your expertise as a certified, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist will help students achieve their communication goals and thrive in the educational setting.
What you bring:
Current certification and licensure to practice as an SLP Previous experience supporting students in elementary, middle, and/or high school Ability to work one-on-one and adapt strategies to meet individual student needs Strong assessment, intervention planning, and documentation skills Collaborative spirit, comfortable working with teachers, administrators, and families Dedication to maintaining compliance with school and state regulations Your impact and responsibilities: Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in a variety of grade levels Conduct assessments and interpret results to develop customized intervention plans Engage in one-on-one and group therapy with students, adjusting approaches as needed Consult and collaborate with school professionals and families to coordinate care Contribute to the development and monitoring of IEPs and progress reports Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development initiatives You'll enjoy the unique rewards of seeing students' progress each day, working with supportive staff, and growing both professionally and personally.
