JOB DESCRIPTION

Phillipsburg School District is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Music Teacher to serve students in a grades 6-8 setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong instructional and classroom management skills, a passion for music education, and the ability to engage and inspire middle school students through vocal and instrumental instruction. The candidate should be committed to fostering creativity, collaboration, and musical growth while creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and administration, as well as experience planning performances and integrating diverse musical experiences into the curriculum, is highly valued.

QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY

New Jersey Teacher Certification in Music Competence in Knowledge/Skills Student Centered Focus Personal attributes that include love of children, flexibility, and sense of humor Required criminal history background check
