Middle School Science Teacher

Middle School Science Teacher Pioneer Academy is seeking a highly effective Middle School Science teacher with 2-3 years of teaching experience for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver creative and engaging science lessons for grades 5-6 that meet NGSS standards and align with the school's FOSS curriculum. Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, inquiry-based learning, and technology integration. Assess student learning through a variety of methods, including formative and summative assessments. Collaborate with other science teachers and faculty across disciplines to create integrated learning experiences. Stay current with the latest advancements in science education and best practices. Contribute to the school community by participating in professional development opportunities and school events.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree 2 years of teaching experience NJ teaching certificate preferred but not required

Salary range:

$60,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience.
