In this role, you will foster a positive learning environment, develop engaging curricula, and support students' social and emotional growth. Your enthusiasm for teaching, combined with your expertise in various subjects, will help ignite curiosity and promote lifelong learning among middle school learners. Duties Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across multiple subjects such as Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. Deliver engaging instruction that incorporates innovative learning technology and differentiated strategies to meet diverse student needs. Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations; provide timely feedback to support growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively through proactive behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies. Mentor and support students academically and socially, fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, extracurricular activities—including sports coaching—and school-wide initiatives. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, special education, Montessori methods, or other educational approaches. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress, behavior, and upcoming activities through conferences and written reports. Assist in education administration tasks such as lesson planning documentation, curriculum review, and participating in school events. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification for middle school preferred. Demonstrated classroom experience working with children at the middle school level. Strong knowledge of core subjects including Algebra, and general Math concepts. Proficiency in learning technology tools and digital resources to enhance instruction. Excellent communication skills for public speaking, mentoring, and collaborating with colleagues and families. Experience with curriculum development. Background in sports coaching or physical education is a plus for supporting extracurricular activities. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and literacy education strategies. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and childhood development principles.
