Aug 24, 2026 Job Description Full-Time Middle/Upper Elementary Classroom Teacher The Academy of Notre Dame in Tyngsboro, MA is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and student-centered educator to join our Elementary School faculty for the 2026-2027 academic year. Situated on a beautiful and serene campus, our school provides small class sizes with an inspiring environment where educators and students thrive academically, spiritually, and socially. We are looking for a passionate classroom teacher who is committed to fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment while supporting the academic and personal growth of each student.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will serve as a full-time middle/upper elementary classroom teacher, responsible for delivering high-quality instruction across core subject areas while nurturing the development of the whole child. This position reports directly to the Lower School Principal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in core content areas including English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies
• Develop and implement engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, assessments, and technologies to support student learning
• Create a structured, respectful, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and positive behavior
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs, including those requiring additional support or enrichment
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate and timely records of student performance
• Communicate regularly and effectively with families regarding student growth, progress, and classroom activities
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administrators to support student success and school initiatives
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school community events
