Job Description
Located in Leola, PA we are Dexco Racking, manufacturer of Dexco Structural Steel I-Beam Racking Systems. We are a well-established, successful, and growing metal fabrication company that has been in business since 1962. We engineer and manufacture structural steel racking systems to safely meet nearly any weight requirement. Our racks are ideal for storing industrial materials such as lumber, coils, dies, pipe tubing, bar stock, sheet metal and glass supporting loads ranging from 2,000 to 80,000 pounds. Our racks deliver well-engineered and reliable solutions for all varieties of industrial storage. With our focus on safety, superior quality and great people ... our racks are built to last! Currently, we are undergoing a major $3.7M plant overhaul with updated lighting; new equipment; new lunch room and completely renovated men's and women's locker room spaces. Our specialty is Dexco Structural Steel I-Beam Racking Systems, where we are an industry leader in design and manufacturing. Join a leader in the Material Handling and Storage industry. Ross Industrial is recognized across the country for its ability to engineer and manufacture vertical storage solutions for heavy‐duty industrial applications. We are currently skilled welders for 1st and 2nd shifts. We are a fast-paced metal fabricating facility and are looking for experienced MiG Welders to join our team. The Manufacturing Production Welder will be primarily responsible for welding and assembling metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment. Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures. Works from specifications, drawings, and weld symbols. Prepares and completes work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal. Schedule:
1st shift: 6:00am- 2:00pm; Monday
- Friday 2nd shift: 2:00pm
- 10:00pm; Monday
- Friday OT will be required as needed to meet production goals
OCCASSIONALLY MANDATORY ON SATURDAY'S.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification A valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution is preferred A minimum of 1 year experience as a welder Able to proficiently read and use a tape measure Excellent knowledge of welding machinery and manual tools Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs and understand welding symbols Ability to build fittings and fixtures preferredAWS D1.1
