Mill Department Lead - 2nd shift

Education/Experience High school diploma Minimum 2-3 orthopedic machining experienc Instrumedical Technologies, Inc. has an immediate opening for a 2nd shift Mill Department Lead. Candidates will be required to have a proactive approach to problem solving and creating efficiency. Working knowledge of machining practices. Good judgment and assessment skills. Detail and task oriented. Experience in set-up, operation, programming and troubleshooting, with the ability to work in close tolerance manufacturing. Ability to read mics, calipers, gages and other measuring equipment. The ability to train personnel on good machining practices is essential. Instruct and lead their employees, through the guidance of the Mill Supervisor and Production Manager. Must be able to program, set-up, trouble shoot, and problem solve the machines in their prospective areas. Must have good organizational skills to ensure programs, set-up sheets, and other computer-generated paperwork is properly stored, saved, and maintained within ISO regulations. This position will require frequently lifting and/or moving up to 24 lbs.
