ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communicates effectively and works well in a team environment. Deliver ready mix concrete safely and efficiently from production sites to customer projects and ensure delivery records are processed appropriately. Maintain good customer relations by acting in a professional and courteous manner. Communicate with dispatch, plant operators, other drivers, and customers to provide quality service. Visually inspect the quality and consistency of concrete in the mixer truck. Perform daily preventive truck maintenance and inspection. Ensure environmental and DOT requirements are followed.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Class A or B driver's license with current medical card. Minimal moving violations. Good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain respectful relationships with other staff. Must be able to interpret written information such as safety rules, sales tickets, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong work ethic. Flexibility is essential, as the position requires varied working hours and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Ability to operate under stressful, time-sensitive deadlines.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Perform all work in accordance with Casey Concrete or Company Safety policies. The work is performed outdoors and/or indoors, enduring heat, cold, rain, dust, wind, and other elements.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES

Physical demands include but are not limited to walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting - 50 pounds minimum.
