billion in sales in 2025. Job DescriptionSika is looking for a Mixer Operator to join its growing team in Mattawan, MI. The Operator is responsible for the timely execution of daily production requirements, achieving safety, housekeeping, quality, and rate objectives and participating in continuous improvement activities as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow all Safety, Health, Environmental (EHS), and ISO proceduresAccurately follow batching and process orders from start to finishOperate mixers, pumps, PLCs, recipe systems, and tinting equipmentAdd raw materials in correct quantities at designated timesMonitor temperatures, chemical reactions, and batch qualityRecord batch data and provide documentation to shift leadershipTake and document samples at required intervalsTroubleshoot process or equipment issues and take corrective actionCommunicate with fellow operators and maintenance as neededPackage finished materials after quality approvalMaintain clean and organized work areas, including mixers and pigment pump areas
Physical Requirements:
